Goodbye Conjunctivitis! (hopefully)

Good Riddance would probably be a more accurate emotion though. Today is my first fully clear day, after three bouts of conjunctivitis, 2 different anti-biotics and lubricants, so about half a dozen bottles of eye drops, over the course of 40-odd days, my eyes finally seem to be normal.

Spent most of last month in isolation at home, hardly met anyone, didn't shake hands with anyone. Missed out on BarCamp and Ice Age 2. Spent lesser time on the computer than usual. On the positive side , I finished reading two books last month, which is a considerable improvement over having read one boring book between Jan 2003 to March 2006!

And there has finally been a response to my open letter, after nearly 8 months the best response they could come up with was, to avoid the real issue and focus on slander/libel, enough lies to put pinnochio to shame. And cheap un-ethical stunts like making a private email public, without mentioning the context.I'll be posting my response over/after the weekend. But I wonder where slanderous speeches and libellous content fits into the "new-BLUG's" motto, is it "Focus" "Fun" or "Decorum"?.

There are a whole bunch of photos that are long overdue, I'll be putting them up in the next update. Working on a new backend for the photo albums, and would rather upload them with the new system than waste time migrating them over.

Over the past year or so, I've been trying to get some problems with BSNL's dataone system resolved, it's frustrating that nothing has come of it, and I'd rather spend my time on something more productive. So I've put up a page detailing some of the issues I'd been following up with them. Maybe with more people taking up the issue, there'll hopefully be a swifter reaction from them.
